The starting point for research of this paper is that most areas in our country is in the subtropical climate zone, the four seasons change obviously and there is large temperature difference between winter and summer. This paper makes full use of the climate situation in our country, reducing the condensing pressure of the direct expansion refrigeration system in winter significantly, improving the cooling efficiency greatly, reducing energy consumption and reducing the environment pollution.This paper proposes a new refrigeration system which between traditional direct expansion refrigeration systems (TDX) with pumped liquid circulation system (RPC) called: The dual power direct expansion refrigeration system of working medium pump and compressor (DXPC). This refrigeration system is based on the TDX system for a working medium pump being installed in the liquid line between the receiver and the expansion valve. The main characteristic of this refrigeration system is that:The pump bears the main responsibility for liquid feeding of the refrigeration system and the main responsibility of the compressor is to compressing the refrigerant vapor. Because the pump bears the main responsibility of feeding liquid refrigerant to the system so that the discharge pressure of the compressor could be lower, this means that the condensing temperature could be lower. Thus the condensing pressure could be floating with the outdoor temperature changing. When the temperature is lower outdoor, the condensing pressure could be lower so that increasing the refrigeration capacity and decreasing the energy consumption, whilst the increasing energy consumption of the pump is less than the decreasing energy consumption of the compressor and implementing energy saving and decreasing the cost of operation and maintenance and making the environment much friendly.In this paper, through theoretical analysis and experimental study, some advantages of DXPC refrigeration system are concluded.1. Compared with the TDX refrigeration system, the DXPC refrigeration system has lower condensing pressure and higher cooling efficiency.1. Compared with the refrigeration system with pump circulation, the DXPC refrigeration system needs much less refrigerant charging.3. Lowing the noise and making environment friendly.4. Reduce the compressor failure rate, prolong the service life of the compressor and reduce maintenance costs.
