As the focus of the work in passenger transport, reasonable train plan not only to meet thetraffic demand, but also to achieve the lowest cost of passenger travel and maximization ofrailway revenue. Lanzhou-Chongqing line is the convenient channel to connect the northwestand southwest of China,The opening and operating of transport can greatly ease the tensestatus of existing lines, simultaneously,it sharply cut down the distance from Chongqing,Chengdu, Lanzhou, Xining economic center to other industrial regions of the passenger andfreight transport. However, there is no proven experience to draw on the train plan owing tothe present situation that the line has not been opened yet. So it has great significance to theoptimization modeling study of Lanzhou-Chongqing line passenger train plan.The first part of the paper summarized the international and domestic advanced theoriesof passenger train programs and methods to explore Lanzhou-Chongqing railway train planoptimization model building ideas.The second part of the paper is the in-depth analysis of the equipment and stationdistribution for the Lanzhou-Chongqing line.The third part of the paper is study of mainstream of passenger traffic forecastingmethods and analysis of the current situation of Lanzhou-Chongqing channel passenger trafficcomposition and structure. Then we predicted passenger traffic of Lanzhou-Chongqingrailway in2015and2025by using the four-stage method and improve "gravity model" to getdirectly passenger traffic forecast, line density of passenger traffic and passenger segments ofLanzhou-Chongqing line,using "Logit model" for calculating different modes of transportwithin the Lanzhou-Chongqing contribution rate to achieve2015、2025years after openingand get transfer of Lanzhou-Chongqing line traffic forecasts.Finally,using LOGSUM operatorto calculate after Lanzhou-Chongqing line opened traffic induced growth rate,then obtainedthe Lanzhou-Chongqing line2015、2025each section contains the induced traffic indistribution of traffic prediction, which provides an important foundational data for makingthe train program.In the fourth part of the paper, the definition of passenger train constitutes stop program,followed by the impact of Lanzhou-Chongqing line passenger train plan factors (train capacity,traffic density section, traffic fluctuation coefficient, etc.) were analyzed firstly. Secondly,itanalyzed the Lanzhou-Chongqing line passenger train plan model optimization objectives,determined the objectives of the model which is optimized to meet the volume on the basis ofmaking the railway companies to maximize revenue and minimize passenger overhead costs. Thirdly, the Lanzhou-Chongqing Railway Line train capacity,each segment volume, stationend to the originating capability, line by capacity,passenger relevance and value, the stationstoppings and other conditions which constraints Lanzhou-Chongqing line passenger trainplan synthesis optimization model was established. Finally, we designed a comprehensiveoptimization algorithm by the application of the simplified model and step by step ideas forsolving this multi-objective linear programming mode.In the fifth part of the paper, we determined the relevant parameters of the modelsolution, established a single objective programming model by simplifying the model trainstops optimization solutions and combining the results of each segment OD flowedforecasting software lingo step by solving Lanzhou-Chongqing railways each line which wasbased on-line features and technical equipment OD segment train species,train number,stopprograms.Finally,done the Lanzhou-Chongqing line passenger train optimization scheme andevaluated it which validity Lanzhou-Chongqing line passenger train plan integratedoptimization model were investigated.
