As the residents’ living standard increasing day by day, the requirements of travel willalso increase. Residents want to seek a travel program with high efficiency and highaccessibility when they travel. Meanwhile, the accessibility also plays a vital role inevaluating the development of urban public transport. Therefore, the accessibilityoptimization models of urban public transport and evaluation research have an importantpractical significance. This paper focuses on the research of accessibility mainly from thefollowing aspects:Referring to previous research on accessibility and based on these researches, theaccessibility of urban public traffic is refined by applying the idea of generalized expense. Inthis paper, the accessibility of urban public transport is defined as the total generalizedexpense by using the bus as a travel tool to reach its destination from start in the passengertravel process, the greater the generalized expense, the worse the accessibility; on the contrary, the better the accessibility.Among various kinds of factors that affect accessibility, select the quantitative factorsapply to this article research, that are travel cost, travel time and numbers of transfer, analyzethese three factors respectively, and establish the corresponding factors model by convertingthe calculated results of these three factors into generalized cost. This paper establishes accessibility optimization model according to the ideas ofgeneralized expense and uses the total generalized expense of travel as accessibility toevaluate the public transport, at the same time, this paper also gives out the best travelprogram when passengers travel. Establish accessibility evaluation set, define accessible, basic accessible, and inaccessible at the three levels to evaluate the accessibility results.A multi-stage fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is established in this paper. As theaccessibility cognition of passengers can’t be simply generalized, so this paper proposes theconception of a reliable peak factor when evaluating accessibility. The paper evaluates theaccessibility from the peak period and the flat period and obtains the evaluate results oftwo-stage, which are more true and practical. This paper designs the algorithm to meet the accessibility optimization model, usescomputer program to implement the algorithm and give out the final assessment results. Theurban public transport passenger satisfaction questionnaire is designed in this paper. Bycollecting and sorting the data of passengers’ accessibility factors, this paper gets the bothweight value of the various influencing factors of urban public transport accessibility and theeach factor required in fuzzy comprehensive evaluation phases. Finally, for the case study, this paper uses the bus network of R city as background andmodifies the bus nodes to bus station in the bus network, and then applies the accessibilityoptimization model and algorithm to estimate. The quantitative model estimation results showthat the accessibility grade of network is reachable and the qualitative model evaluationresults show that the accessibility satisfaction of R city at the flat period is relatively satisfied, but that at the peak period is general satisfied, after that it also needs to improve theaccessibility of the peak period, make sure that the bus able to provide better service forpassengers.
