Steel structures have many advantages in good seismic in the industry and they arewidely applied. Steel frame structure combines excellent performance with steelstructures in seismic and frame structures about reasonable allocation being more andmore widely applied. This paper studies the structural analysis of the model by the mostwidely used finite element software ANSYS. The steel frame structure seismic modelswere analyzed.In condition of clear the structure compute model assumptions with seismicresponse analysis. Then use the finite element ANSYS to set up three different modelswith a two story, a five story and a eight story models of steel frame. Differing only inthe height-width ratio. The three models contains three types about low, multilayer andhigh steel frame. So that the conclusions can be self-comparison and contrast three steelframe structure.Analysis the modal of three steel frame models. Get the self vibration frequencyabout the structures. To provide datas for the analysis of the frequency and periodseismic spectral response of the back. And acquire the modal analysis about libratemode scheme. The three models die state resulting vibration frequency analysis. Takinginto reciprocal vibration period, the higher in the range of floor vibration period thegreater resonance. That is to say the higher more likely to occur resonance.
