Along with the foundation pit engineering development, the soft soil area holeexcavated for foundation pit existence question and the three-dimensional effect aremore and more obvious. General the foundation pit design methods have been unable tomeet engineering requirements, using three-dimensional numerical simulation method isthe foundation pit design and development of an trend. This article first elaborated thesoft soil area foundation pit engineering and the steel soil-cement mixed pile wallcharacteristic and the research present situation, then analysis steel soil-cement mixedpile wall performance and rigidity contribution, and an in-depth discussion of beam onelastic Foundation method commonly used in the design of Foundation pit based on thestrengths and weaknesses of proposed retaining structure of soil and finite elementcalculation method of interaction as a whole.In this paper, based on a particular foundation excavation in Suzhou, the threedimensional finite element analysis considering structure-soil interaction is carried outwith the help of ABAQUS. In the finite element model, Mohr-Coulomb is used tosimulate the actual soil; contact face element is used to simulate the interaction betweensoil and structure, active and inactive element method is used to simulate the excavationprocess. According to the calculation results analysis of the following contents:(1)Combined with soft soil area geological conditions characteristics choose thecorrect soil parameters, according to the article the researching steel soil-cement mixedpile wall stiffness contribution analysis results to determine the equivalent stiffness.(2)The internal force and deformation of palisade structure and supporting system,the soil pressure distribution.(3)Through the comparison of the calculated value and the measured value, therationality and applicability of this model is verified.(4)By changing the finite element model, the single factor analysis method is usedto study the relation-ship between the pit foundation’s deformation and internal force.(5)Three dimensional finite element model and calculation of elastic Foundationbeam method results compare and discuss their own characteristics.This article of the research results of similar pit engineering design andconstruction provides some reference.
