Wetland is the richest biodiversity and the highest ecological function of ecosystemenvironment in the world’s three big ecosystem and plays an important role in regulatingclimate, purifying environment, flood storage drought-resisting and maintaining biodiversity.Urban wetland is an important part of national wetland protection system, not only hasimportant ecological significance, but also has the very important social service function. Inrecent years, along with the accelerate urbanization, the urban wetland resources developmentand utilization continuously strengthening, combined with the lack of protectionconsciousness and guidance system, which caused many environmental problems, thesustainable development of the urban wetland is facing a great threat. Wetland park is idealmodel, which is one of the effective ways to coordinate social activity with wetland resources.The sustainable development of the urban wetland park planning, improving the quality ofthe whole urban ecological has futher significance.Swan lake wetland is sanmenxia future regional center and green core. Swan lakewetland natural resource is rich, belonging to a typical urban wetland, so regional planningand construction must coordinate the relationship between the wetland protection anddevelopment to improve the local social economy and the environmental health orderly. Butin the urban development, due to the misconceptions of wetland tourism resourcesdevelopment, emphasizing on development but not protection, as the economic benefitsincreasing, it causes the destruction of the original wetland ecological environment, thenresult in urban wetland degradation.Based on the relevant theoretical research of concept and planning of urban wetland park,combining with field investigation and analysis, this paper points out that the currentproblems and countermeasures of the swan lake city wetland park in the process of planningand construction, and uses the landscape ecology, wetland restoration and ecological tourismto do research on swan lake urban wetland park general plan, then comes up with generaldesign requirements for the wetland protection, and the white swan sightseeing, local culturedisplay, putting forward the "protection-use-value-protection" ecological plan ideas. Through reasonable planning division and a unique landscape, plant landscape planning, theroad system planning, tourist capacity estimation, etc., basing on the protection of originalecosystem of wetland area, there will be a comprehensive ecological tourist area with whiteswan sightseeing, wetland protection, ecological tourism, culture display, entertainment,public science education.Finally, the paper draws some major conclusions, to offer theor and technical supportfor the construction of wetland park design of the same type in the future.
