Reinforced concrete structures are commonly used in the form of the domesticconstruction industry structure, prefabricated reinforced concrete structure due to itsspeed of construction, material savings, less environmental pollution and otheradvantages is more and more popular. But integrity of prefabricated reinforcedconcrete structures is poor which becomes the main factor hindering its development.Currently, in order to improve the structural integrity of prefabricated reinforcedconcrete, domestic engineering often uses the cast beam-column joints, strengtheningits integrity. However, the beam-column joints area where has more stirrups, hascaused great difficulties to the construction, in many cases, we can not guarantee theconcreting uniform, and thus can not guarantee the strength of the beam-columnjoints. Currently, foreign researches on beam-column joints in the form of reinforcedconcrete structures fabricated are more than domestic researches. In this paper, basedon related researches at home and abroad, I proposed a new type of steel beams andcolumns of reinforced concrete structures fabricated in the form of a barrel node, andlaunched a series of theoretical analysis.First, the current forms of beam-column joints of prefabricated reinforcedconcrete used at home and abroad are summarized in this paper. Based on theiradvantages and disadvantages, two new steel barrel beam-column joints ofprefabricated reinforced concrete structure with welded connections and boltedconnections are proposed. The second, based on the test of reinforced concrete edge beam-column jointMCJ which has been done by Beijing University of Technology, the specimen size ofnew steel barrel beam-column joints is identified initially, and then their mechanicalperformances are analyzed using finite element method. According to the comparisonbetween the test results of MCJ and FEM results of J1and J2from aspects of bearingcapacity, skeleton curve and ductility factor, J2test specimen appears better ductilityand seismic performance. Then, by changing vertical steel plate size and form, horizontal steel plate sizeand stiffener size at the beam end of J2test specimen to analyze their changs how tomake impacts on mechanical performance of J2test specimen. Finally, according to the results of finite element calculation, the paper analyzesthe cross stiffening girder which can make influence on mechanical performances ofJ2test specimen, can transmit force effectively, and increase the shear strength of thejoint.
