With the gradual improvement of the industrial level in our country, people putforward a series of new requirements of air compressor. High compression efficiency,low noise, low energy consumption and stable gas supply equipment arises at thehistoric moment, this is twin-screw air compressor. It has been widely used inmachinery manufacturing,civil air defense facilities ventilation engineering, with itsoutstanding performance.Twin-screw compressor is a kind of rotary compressor, it isa new technology based on single screw compressor.Rotary air compressor in motion will bring about changes in the cavity volume,and volume changes will bring about changes in the gas compression rate and gaspressure. It changes the corresponding interval pressure value by use the relativemotion between the rotor; in order to realize the process of gas compression. And apair of rotor is parallel assembled on compressor host cavity in the body.The purpose of this paper is to develop a application in pressure vessel pulsefatigue test of oil free twin-screw air compressor,which can achieve stable and highspeed operation. According to the requirement of gas source for test, designed asmall-scale twin-screw air compressor to satisfy. At first studied its working principle,and then design the mechanical structure part. Analysis the design element of therotor profile to obtain its design principles. Design a new kind of rotor profile basedon this principle to meet the demands. Combining with practical applicationconditions, calculate the size and do stress analysis of the screw rotor. According tothe derivation of rotor profile and meshing line equation to attain its coordinateconversation program, then use Matlab to calculate coordinate value of the rotor.Import above value in Pro/E5.0to accomplish its3D modeling, finally completepre-assembly to verify the rationality of this design.In addition, the rotor modalanalysis were carried out to verify the resonance will not occur under normal workingconditions.Finally, make acoustic simulation about the interior sound field of compressorbody in the LMS Virtual.Lab Acoustics by indirect boundary element method.Simulation the frequency response curve of the three point in the body, understand the relationship between frequency and noise vibration value. On this basis,analyzed the major noise source of oil free twin-screw air compressor, and putsforward the corresponding control methods.
