As the rapid development of economy, problems of energy shortage andenvironmental pollution have become increasingly prominent. Electrically driven airconditioning equipment has led to the widespread use of winter and summer peakelectricity problems and cause destruction of the ozone layer, the greenhouse effectand other environmental problems. Absorption air conditioning uses low-grade heat, has important implications for energy conservation, the use of clean andenvironmentally friendly refrigerants, fewer moving parts, and other advantages. However, the current market absorption chiller refrigerants used for absorption existsor this or that defects hinder its further development. Absorption chiller is a smallsub-cooling of the direction of its future development, but low to bring air coolingEER, bulky, easy to crystallize all problems are urgent. This thesis presents a small air-cooled absorption air conditioning system. Therefrigerant are sodium thiocyanate-ammonia and lithium nitrate-ammonia, whichcan produce cold amount below zero and eliminate distillation equipment; Betterthermal properties can help to solve the problems caused by air-cooled conditions.A new design of absorber which is the core component was proposed. The tubes arearranged in a stainless steel filler to take away the heat. The time and space ofgas-liquid contact in the filler is extended. It helps to enhance heat and mass transfer, but also to make a more compact absorber.Chemical simulation software was used to simulate the process in the absorber, Amathematical model of the system processes was build for numerical calculation. ItProvides a reference for subsequent bench designs.
