Pulse power is widely used in the metallurgical industry, electroplating, laser, etc. Tocompare with traditional continuous power, pulse power have the advantages of adjustablepulse width and frequency, energy savings and high efficiency. It has been widely appliedin certain situations.According to weather repetition, pulse power can be divided to single pulse andmulti-pulse power supply. Single pulse power outputs unidirectional pulse with fixedparameters, After discharging to form a pulse, the power must shutdown and recharge forthe next pulse. To change the parameters of pulse, it must stop and reset, it generally used inhigh-power condition. Multi-pulse power, namely repetition frequency power, can outputunidirectional and periodic commutation multi-pulse with different parameters of pulsewidth, frequency, amplitude, duration. it generally used in low-power condition. In thispaper, we study the repetition frequency pulse power in the application of laser.Since pulse current source is needed in laser power, phase-shifted full-bridge ZVStopology is chosen as the main circuit in this paper. The latter circuit uses current hysteresisto form freewheeling Network, prepared for providing current to the laser load. Thefrequency of pulse current is controlled by switch in latter circuit. Thus forming a repetitionfrequency pulse power supply with adjustable frequency.This paper analyzes several common charging scheme, on this basis, we select themain circuit topology of phase-shifted full-bridge, and analyze the phase-shifted full-bridgecircuit schematic and models. According to the actual required parameters, we explore thecharging schemes of the main circuit, and through simulation analysis, choose the constantpower charging scheme. it reduces the volatility of the power and the harmonic in grid.Finally, parameter calculation and simulation experiment prove the feasibility of thisscheme.
