Curr ently in t he pr actical engineering, rei n forcedconcr et e bea m slab sy ste m i s use d i n t he maj orit y o f t h e b ui l di ngs i n Chi na,Therefore handle better the connection problems of joint of concrete filledsteeltubul ar col u mn and rei n forc ed c oncre te bea m for m one of t he ke yissue s about the promoti on of concre te filled steel tubular column. Thecurrent connection commonl y used ar e limited to a certain extent, a newtype of joint about concrete-filled st eel tube (CFST) column-RC beam waspresented in this paper, that is in t he C FS T c o l u mn-R C bea m c on ne c t i n gzone, the steel pi pe was br oken, a nd then the longitudinal bar of rei n forcedconcr ete bea m stic k i nto the joint, so the joint-concr e t e a nd t he c ol u mn-R Cbeam-concrete became a whol e,and the construction of j oi nt was si mp l i fiedand the j o int sti ffne ss wa s str engt hened. To ma ke up the str engt h caused bythe br oke n steel pi pe, l ongit udinal ba rs a nd hoops a nd s teel me shes i n thejoint z one wa s str engt hen. On the basis of seeking effects of constr aintlength on concrete filled st eel tube columns bearing capacity, in this paper,design three groups of test verify feasibility of the new joints under axialloadi ng c ondit ions, and the r esults show t hat t he sche me is fe asi ble. Final ly,by usi ng t he fi nite ele ment s o ftware fi nite el ement soft ware car ries on thecontr ast a nalysis t o the test. Its mai n c onte nts ar e as foll ows:(1)Through c oncre te fille d steel tubul ar short c o lumn axialcompr essi on test of four gr oups of di ffer ent cons traint length, to getconcrete filled steel tubular short column axial bearing capacity of differentcons traint lengt h, thus get the c onst raint le ngth a nd beari ng c apacit yrelationship curve, and fitting out a correct ion coefficient showi ngconstraint length on the effect of bearing capacity, finally obtai n Thecalcul ation for mul a of di fferent constraint l e ngth of t he load carryi ngcapacity of concrete filled steel tubular column.(2)Through loading test for t hree di ffe rent groups of thi s ne w t ype of joints,to verify the feasibility of this new type of joints in the axialcompr essi on l oadi n g condit ions.I n t he proce ss of t est, get the joints stressstrain curve,compare theoretical carrying capacity and trial carryingcapaci ty of joi nts, analyse the stress of joi nts.(3) Use t h e finite el ement analysis soft ware to analysis concrete filledsteel tubular short colu mn s wi th differe nt c onstr aint lengt h,e speci allypara metri c a nal ys is, be ari ng ca pac ity cha n ges whe n t he para meterchanges,such as steel pipe wall thi ckne ss, dia meter, s trengt h, c oncre testrength and othe r para met ers chan ge to bri ng the e ffect on beari ngcapaci ty。...
