The tunnel engineering has always been troubled by the karst issue. In recent years, withthe development of tunnel engineering in China, a large number of road tunnels and railwaytunnels have been built in extensive karst regions. With the construction problems beingcomplex increasingly, how to improve the accuracy of karst geological prediction has becomea urgent issue. In order to improve the accuracy of geological prediction in karst region,tunnel geological prediction in complex karst region is studied in this paper throughtheoretical analysis and actual conditions. The specific research of this paper follows:(1) The working principle, observation methods and data interpretation method of theTSP203, geological radar, high resolution method, infrared detection method are investigated.The typical problems in data acquisition and data processing are described and discussed.(2) On the basis of geological interpretation model of four methods. Studied Karstadvanced prediction technology index weight distribution on TSP203, geological radar, highresolution method, infrared detection method, For Xiang Shan tunnel. Researched thecomplex karst tunnel advanced prediction integrated system.(3) Depending on the deficiencies of the advanced geological drilling method in the karsttunnel geological prediction, it studies the equipment optimization and anti-inrush device toperfect the construction process of advanced geological drilling.(4) It adopts the mathematical statistics principle to quantitatively analyze the drillingintegrity rate, water output, broken drilling, and the drilling with lots of sediment accountingfor the percentage of the total drilling quantity, with the distribution of longitudinally alongthe tunnel mileage, so as to build a geological model to predict the probability of tunnel karstgrowth.
