The Application Research Of Warm Mix Asphalt Mixture Technology

Asphalt concrete industry is one of the resource and energy consuming industries and isone industry that highly depends on and consumes large amounts of stone, tar, heavy oil anddiesel oil. Countries worldwide spent a lot of money trying to figure out how to make full useof the existing resources and energy to the development of Asphalt concrete industry, as wellas the development of Warm Mix Asphalt (Warm Mix Asphalt, WMA) technology. Reducingenergy consumption and environmental pollution is among one of the ways to achieve ourgoal.In this paper, we will mainly discuss about the application of WMA to the pavementsystem. After a systematic review on the warm mixing asphalt (WMA) technology applyingin the pavement system, as well as a comparison of the different characteristics of thetechnology at home and abroad, we thoroughly study the problems and manage to work outsolutions. Meanwhile, through indoor test on WMA technology, we mainly draw someconclusions on the aspects of the existing problems of WMA different effects of admixture onthe capabilities of the SBS modified asphalt mixture ratio design of warm mix asphalt andmixing techniques as well as4.) the application of WMA to the payment system.
