The mechanism of unsaturated rainfall infiltration are not so clear and traditionalseepage calculation of boundary condition does not conform to the actual processing.Traditional rainfall infiltration theory lacks of processing methods according with theactual boundary conditions. The main problem is not considering the practicalcharacteristics of rainfall infiltration, simply decomposing the rainfall according to theslope direction, only applying orthogonal water to the slope surface as infiltrationboundary conditions. The traditional processing method does not conform to theactual non-orthogonal rainfall infiltration mechanism. To study the differences of the results between the actual rainfall infiltration andbased on the seepage theory, in this paper, experimental researches and numericalanalyses were done.According to the experiment requirement, this paper designed production ofrainfall infiltration experiment device, through small indoor model tests:1. Study theinfiltration phenomenon and the infiltration mechanism.2. Study the effects ofdifferent compactness control of sand on infiltration velocity and infiltration andseepage quantity.3. Controlling compactness and rainfall patterns, study theinfiltration under the condition of different slope.Corresponding numerical analysis rainfall infiltration was done in view of thespecific indoor model experiment, experimental results and numerical results werecompared and differences were summarized.Through the experimental analysis and numerical calculation, this paper finallyobtained the following results:1. The experiment resulted no slope runoff underdifferent rainfall intensity. The results of numerical analysis based on traditionaltheory of rainfall infiltration are different from experimental results.2. Infiltration lawunder different slope control were summarized.3. Studied and summarized the effectson rainfall infiltration under different rainfall intensity control.4. Conclusion ofrainfall infiltration under different compactness analysis was given.5. Slopeinfiltration of different slope were studied in the circumstance of the same rainfall.6.Compared and summarized the differences and similarities between experimental results and the results of numerical analysis. The conclusion proved traditionalorthogonal infiltration theory is not accurate.
