Research On Solution Of Dispute On Quantities At Final Account Under Conditions Of Unit Price Contract

Chinese construction industry develops rapidly, at the same time, the cases of theFinal Account Disputes are increasing, and Quantities Disputes have a big proportion. TheFinal Account of construction project have the direct bearing on benefit of the owners andcontractors, The quantities of the Final Account is the basis of construction costs, thequantities dispute is an important part of settlement dispute, so how to solve quantitiesdisputes has been a problem which require immediate solutions in engineering practice.The article starts with the principle of Unit Price Contract, risk allocation ofquantities and the provision of the Final Account Quantities Dispute. And Through anglicizingorigin and form of expression of final account quantities disputes from the perspective ofowners respectively, proposed measures for solving final account quantities disputes onthe every stage of the project. Through anglicizing causes of final account quantitiesdisputes and the owner’s solutions of final account quantities disputes, control the causesand the solutions on the every stage, form a dispute resolution manual for owners to solvefinal account quantities disputes. Owners may refer to these measures in the actual work,and resolve problems that may arise to ensure smooth progress of final account, safeguardthe interests of owners.
