Lightning is one of the most important causes of tripping fault of transmission line,wherein the lightning jump failure accounted for a large proportion of the total line trip,especially in the high rate of Cadore, soil, terrain complex area, lightning caused the accidentrate is higher, and in recent years showed a rising trend, we must carry on the guard,especially for multi circuit transmission lines on same tower to prevent the same jumpaccident is more important.The operation experience of single line lightning protection design, multi circuit lines onthe same tower operation management at the present stage are dependent on the traditionalsystem, to study the lack of multi circuit lines on the same tower lightning characteristics andlightning protection performance, not according to the operational features of lightningprotection lightning protection scheme and formulate practical and effective managementmeasures, to reduce the lightning single trip out rate and lightning trip out rate of multi circuitat the same time, in this regard is an urgent need to develop new method is economical andpractical and simple and practical, convenient operation.This paper focuses the multi circuit transmission lines on same tower lightning trippingat the same time according to the different transmission line corridors are showing in thelightning characteristics, topography, tower structure characteristics of, with thunder andlightning monitoring technology as the foundation, according to the multi circuit transmissionlines on same tower lightning strike problem trip at the same time, around the "in where theanti, how to prevent, the protective effect to" research, and in line with actual monitoring datato prevent jumping lightning protection measures and strategies to deal with the foundationpresented the multi circuit transmission lines on same tower, avoid blindly lightningprotection measures are adopted in the line, improve the reliability of power supply.
