Power distribution network’s energy losseses generated from the deliver process of power flowthrough power lines and equipments. The ratio of power distribution net work’s energy losses isan integrated economic indicator. It not only reflects the rationality of the power network’sstructure and operation mode, but also reflects the level of the power units’ technique andmanagement. So, system losses rate is one of the important indexes for evaluating themanagement power industry.Power distribution network’s energy losseses is priority of the electric power enterprise lossesreduction managemengt. Due to the complex and changeable of network, human factors andtechnical factors exist in the actual work,which is the difficulties in the management.Many technical workers and managers of distribution network committed to research of theorylosses calculation and line losses management research and acquired many achievements. Basedon previous research and intelligent distribution network and GPMS system,a new statisticalapplication system which combined with real-time theory losses calculation and real-time actualline losses is proposed in this paper. Real-time theory line losses and the actual line losses can beaccurately obtained in this system basing on real time information from distribution automationsystem. Through comparison of the results and the analysis of the distribution network, thispaper puts forward a more accurate losses reduction measures. This system is widely used infujian power system. This system has the following features:(1)It can achieve online/offline theoretical calculation of line losseses in transmission anddistribution network based on local power GIS plattform.(2) Basing on the sharing of GIS graphic data and real-time data of SCADA system,thesystem Integrated into the complete data of line or the distribution transformer with access todistribution transformer monitoring system, load control system data,which included equipmentattribute, topology structure and various real-time data.(3) Automatically capture, real-time calculation data collection instead of manual datacollection in losses calculation. A single point in time of calculation is replaced by continuousreal-time changes in calculation with load conversion, power structure and operation mode. (4) Graph-model transforming, graph-database separation, drawing templates and hotadsorption technology are applied in the transmission system. Grid fast modeling is realizedbasing on the geographical information of distribution network and electrical wiring diagram.The research of this ystem transforms manual data collection and calculation intoautomatically capture and real-time calculation losses calculation.Higher economic and socialbenefits are obtained when this system is used in engineering.
