Automobile vacuum booster can increase the brake power in the process of thebrake. It can make a driving car slow down or even stop as the driver’s desire moreconveniently and dependably, so as to reduce the fatigue of driver. The vacuum boostertake advantage of the car engine venture vacuum as power source to do work, it aimsat increasing the pedal-powered of the driver. The vacuum booster widely used in thecar and motor.This subject study on the optimization of key performance for the vacuumbooster. Owing to the poor knowledge of the relationship between the key performanceparameters, in addition, all kinds of parameters have mutual affection. This made theproduct quality and performance unstable, so we need to take systematic research onthe operating principle and performance parameters. This subject study on theprinciple design and calculations for the vacuum booster, analyzed the mutualinfluence relation of the start power, releases power and jump value, deduced theformula of design calculation of the function parameter, in addition, made contrastanalytical the testing which result from different test board, also optimized theinput-output characteristic curve. Various impact factors for performance parameter,empty run and sealant of the vacuum booster had been deeply study. In this thesis, allcharacteristic curves and chart were true date which derived from on-line experimentboard, customer and Chongqing car Institute.This subject can provides a certain theory and technique support for developer ofthe vacuum manufacturing enterprise, and made a reference for the capabilityparameter design and optimize, and provide theoretical basis for the vacuum booster’sstudy.
