Under the background of the energy strategy and atmospheric controlling, todevelop the new energy vehicles has become an international consensus. This thesisfocused on the vehicle control strategy design, simulation, code development and test,and also the chassis powertrain system parameters matching, vehicle control logic design,the vehicle mode switch and the research of the energy management, which based on afront and rear axle independent drive range-extender electric vehicle.Firstly, the parameters matching calculation of the main parts in the powertrainsystem were carried out, which based on the mainly designed parameters of the vehicle,such as the electric drive motors, the APU system and the power battery system and so on.And the vehicle communication network system, included the vehicle communicationprotocol and the monitoring PC, were designed, which based on the bus communicationaltechnology and the protocol of J1939.Secondely the relevant vehicle control strategy were designed, such as thehigh-voltage control logic, the pure electric drive system control strategy, the hybrid drivesystem control strategy and so on. The rationality of relevant vehicle control strategy wasverified by simulations, which were based on the constructed simulation platform of thevehicle.Thirdly, the monitoring PC based on the CAN bus and the software drive modes forthe vehicle controller were developed. And the software development of the vehiclecontrol strategy was completed, which based on the designed vehicle communicationprotocol.Fourthly the relevant vehicle control strategy test based on the real vehicle werecarried out, mainly including the pure electric vehicle mode based on the axialdefferential controlling and the hybrid control mode test based on the working point ofengine and the power following. And also the dynamic performance test of the vehiclewas arrried out mainly including the maximum speed test and0to60km/h accelerationtime test. The reults verified the rationality of the developed vehicle control strategy andthe rationality of the parameters matching.
