Technical details of the lengthwise deployment of a net towed by a rocket is studiedbased on the previous overall study of the demining system.The structure of the net is designed according to performance criteria of the deminingsystem. The material of the net is selected on the basis of the pulling force-time curveobtained by the external ballistics computation. Theoretical calculations are made for themass distribution of the net. Stacking form of the net is given and the support frame isdesigned in line with the form.In the aspect of rocket external trajectory design, force analysis is made for the net smotion process towed by a rocket. Combining characteristics of each isometric constraintand flexible body model, differential equations of motion and the initial condition isestablished. Numerical solution of the equations is solved through the using of MATLAB.Related calculation results include the trajectory of the rocket, pulling force betweenparticles-time curve, rocket speed-time curve and so on. The results calculated above providetheory bases for the net manufacture and the lengthwise deployment experiment of the netsystem.The objects of the experiment are posed concerning the technical details of thelengthwise deployment, as well as the launcher and the tailoring of the net. Rocket-towingexperiments are conducted three times, experimental facts and results are acquired, analysedand compared with the theoretical results of the rocket external trajectory computation. Thefacts of the complished experiment prove the feasibility of the technical details and thecorrection of the trajectory computation.At last, advice and forecast to the following study are given based on the summery ofthe essay.
