| Thermoelectric power generation technology is an important branch of clean energydevelopment and utilization, the use of thermoelectric power generation technology can notonly improve the energy efficiency, but also supply the electrical equipment through achieveautonomous energy and reduce operating costs.Currently, there are still many deficiencies in the integrated design and practicalapplication of thermoelectric power generation systems, and there are mainly three coreissues: the generation and maintain of temperature difference, the selection of materials thatused for thermoelectric power generation, and the control of thermoelectric power generationsystems. This article is mainly conducted a series of studies on produce of temperaturedifference and system control, the specific work are carried out as follows:First of all, the circuit model of thermoelectric power generation unit is established,including the circuit model that under the ideal case and the actual circuit model that underthe condition of uneven and time-varying distribution of temperature field. And the outputcharacteristics of single thermoelectric power generation unit and a number of thermoelectricpower generation unit that under different connections are analyzed. Through the analysis weconclude that the output characteristic of thermoelectric power generation system does notappear "multimodal phenomenon", which is very common in photovoltaic system, and it isvery important for maximum power point tracking control.Secondly, the mathematical modeling of temperature field of thermoelectric powergeneration system is established according to the knowledge of the thermodynamic. In orderto solve the problem that is hardly to obtain analytical solutions of the differential equations.The finite element method is used to obtain the numerical solution and the thermal simulationanalysis is conducted through using the finite element analysis software Ansys. On the basisof the analysis of the thermal simulation, two mechanical design solutions of thermoelectricpower generation system that used in different environments are introduced, one is nameddual thermoelectric power generation unit which is used in the condition of there is a naturalheat source that can be applied and the other one is integrated into a military kettle in order to be more convenience to carry and can generate more power by firing it.Then, the design scheme of system regulators, energy storage, and maximum powerpoint tracking control has been introduced elaborated, the most suitable voltage controlscheme is chosen, and the selection of energy storage devices and charging and dischargingcontrol scheme are descripted in detail, and also introduced the technology of maximumpower point tracking of thermoelectric power generation, and the hardware and software ofmaximum power point tracking were designed.Finally, the amount of research in this paper are summarized, and the innovations in thisstudy work are highlighted briefly, and conclude which needs to be improved in this work,the problems that need to solve, and the prospect of the further study work of this research infuture is also given. |
