| With the rapid development of our country’s port container business, thehoisting height and speed of Quayside Container Crane has been improvedconstantly. Blindly following the past method which use cable storage baskethas been thought to be difficult to meet the needs of the development. A lotof practice has been proved that this way is only suitable to the workingcondition which the wind is smaller and the hoisting height is less than30meters. When the hoisting height and speed is above a certain value, theaccident of cable inversion and running out of the basket would be happen.That will affect the performance of Quayside Container Crane seriously.Therefore, it is quite necessary for using spreader cable reel (SCR) device toreplace the cable storage basket.Almost ten years ago, the Device, using reel or drum to wind the cable,which can make spreader cable reel synchronize with the Main Hoist hasbeen designed on Quayside Container Crane. Such kind of devices makingthe cable can always follow the spreader sensitively and accurately when thecranes are in operation. It is not only eliminates the influence of weatherfactors but also reduces the accident because of cable damaged.This article will begin with describing the process of SCR developmentand introduce the several kinds of SCR system which are commonly used onthe market in detail. Compares and summarizes their advantages anddisadvantages, applicable occasions, etc.Analyze the actual usage of SCR system and collect the feedbackproblems from our customers. On the next, we give the improvementmeasures and optimize the control program. And then a project of SCRsystem with the Magnetic Coupling control will be designed with writingcalculation sheet and programs, set parameters to realize the control functionof SCR. |
