With the rapid development of national economy and fast growth oftotal electricity consumption, power transmission lines put into operation byelectric power companies also has been increasing constantly, with the highvoltage transmission power grids criss-cross and widely distributed. Largenumbers of high voltage lines stretch over main city rods, highways ornational highways. Traffic administrative department has already set heightrestriction warning signs with unified national standards in specificationsand symbols for general roads and bridge culverts. On the contrary, there isno basic warning for height restriction of the transmission lines, resulting indischarging or even scraping accidents for superelevation vehicles and otherultra-high moving objects when going beneath the lines without knowing theheight permitted, which leads to great threats to lives, property and securityof power system. There is no domestic productions making related products,and foreign manufacturers only offer warning signs covered withlight-reflecting coating.This paper provides an effective solution to these issues. Technologyprojects of Shandong Power Company are integrated and an electrical anddigit height restriction warning sign hanging at high-tension transmissionlines is proposed to induct high-tension transmission lines to change itself, which is able to solve the problem of lacking alarm in electric transmissionlines of inter-city roads, highways and national highways.The main design tasks of this project consist of power supply moduledesign taken charge from the high-voltage transmission lines, ultrasonicranging module design, display module design and control module design.And this paper mainly focuses on these design aspects as well.This paper can be divided into four sections.The first section introduces the background, significance, status andcontent of research, key technology and indicators.The second section describes the overall design proposal of the chargedheight restriction warning sign for the high-voltage transmission lines,including overall hardware design program and software design program.The third section describes the specific hardware design of the chargedheight restriction warning sign for the high-voltage transmission lines,including charging module, display module, ranging module, control moduleand power management module.The fourth section presents the specific software design of the chargedheight restriction warning sign for the high-voltage transmission lines,including software design principles, software development method,software overall structure and detailed design of each module software.
