With the country ’s economic development and scientific and technological level ofprogress, people began to pursue a larger space. With the increasing complexity ofstructure, which for the most complex of buildings node force a higher requirement.Cast steel nodes in its node stiffness, high capacity, fatigue properties, corrosionresistance, good seismic performance, etc., is widely used in recent years has becomeone of the nodes in the form of new, more favored by engineers. China is a country ofhigh incidence of earthquakes in recent years, due to the frequent earthquakes, exposing the shortcomings of various types of construction for seismic design, topeople’s lives and property caused incalculable damage, so the study of the seismiccapacity of buildings under earthquake of urgency. In this paper, using ANSYS finiteelement software for semi-rigid welded steel nodes were connected to the three-dimensional finite element modeling, the theoretical basis for the study of spatial gridstructure steel seismic performance.Firstly, the cast steel nodes in the application and development status at home andabroad are discussed; cast steel nodes on the present situation of the seismicperformance of existing studies were analyzed to identify shortcomings of the presentstudy; spatial grid structure and seismic performance of steel nodes Research.Secondly, using ANSYS finite element analysis software to connect the nodes ofthe steel casting and static performance hysteretic behavior, summed up the thicknessof steel castings, steel pipe fittings Interchange fillet radius, variable thickness weldbevel slope and other parameters changes in steel welded nodes influence of semi-rigidconnections.Finally, using SAP2000software for seismic performance space grid structurearticulated in different connections, rigid and semi-rigid connection structure for exploratory research, comparative analysis of each of the different dynamic properties. The results have implications for spatial grid reference seismic performance design.
