In the transportation system the bridge structure is an indispensable partner. In theearthquake, the bridge structure is especially prone to damage, what’s more it alsotakes a long time to be repaired, so to ensure the normal using of bridge structure is thekey of the rescue. In recent years, a lot of bowstring arch bridges were built, because ofits elegant and economic. However, in order to having the good seismic performance,seismic design of bowstring arch bridge is an important measure. The separate shakingand shock attenuation technology as a new method of seismic isolation technology, itis necessary to study the seismic effect of the method. When the separate shaking andshock attenuation technology is used in the bowstring arch bridge, it is necessary tostudy the effect of the separate shaking and shock attenuation technology. seismicisolation. And in general, the separate shaking and shock attenuation technology isapplied to the bridge structure.Based on analyzing the domestic and foreign literature, With xi’an dongfeng Bahebridge as the engineering example, through the finite element analysis software, setingup three conditions: the common seismic, seismic isolation and the separate shakingand shock attenuation technology. With analysing on three kinds of model, the effectof the separate shaking and shock attenuation technology was got by comparing thethree kinds of results. The primary contents are as follows:(1) The three models of bahe bridge were established by the finite elementsoftware midas/civil, by the analysis the vibration modes was obtained. In this paper the first five vibration modes were studied and provided some basis for the seismicanalysis below.(2) The three models of bahe bridge were analyzed by the response spectrummethod, the vibration modes were combined by SRSS method. the displacements andinternal forces of the bridge were obtained.(3) The three models of bahe bridge were analyzed by the time history analysis. Inthis paper, the models were analyzed by El-centro wave, Taft wave, artificial wave,and the results of the three models were compared.The results show that pot rubber bearing bears the main vertical force andconsumes the part of the seismic energy, lead rubber bearing expend the main seismicenergy, the separate shaking and shock attenuation technology make full use of its owncharacteristics under the action of earthquake ground motion. Seismic performance isgood.
