Due to the severe environmental pollution caused by rapid economic development,effective development of new energy sources has become a focus of international concern.Wind energy is concern as a new extensive use energy, how to improve the efficiency of windpower generation system, optimizing the system works, and improve system stability hasbecome a hot issue. At present, for research and testing of wind power technology, in foreigncountries, some European countries make a laboratory test mainly through software simulationand large-scale simulation of wind power dynamic simulation. In China, some universities andinstitutes focus on the research of wind turbine output analog system, maximum power pointtracking experiments, double-fed wind power generation technology. The existing experimentalplatform is consist of modules in parallel double PWM permanent magnet direct drive windpower generation platform, wind power generation simulation platform based on inductionmotor, simulation VSCF wind power experiment platform based on DSP, etc. This design andresearch is mainly for laboratory wind machine simulation technology research andachievement of maximum wind energy capture.In order to solve the research questions of wind power energy conversion technology, thepaper make a theoretical analysis of the operating characteristics of wind turbine, electricalcharacteristics technical solutions of using permanent magnet direct drive wind turbine energyconversion platform to simulate the actual direct drive permanent magnet wind turbine electricalcharacteristics is proposed, optimized for wind turbine control system. Platform set wind model,wind turbine model, power generation monitoring system in one to simulate current wind powermarket mainstream of permanent magnet direct drive wind turbine. This is not only conduciveto the control strategies research of permanent magnet direct drive wind power system anddevelopment of new products, but also conducive to micro-grid construction and distributedgeneration technologies study.The main design concept is the to use asynchronous motors and permanent magnetgenerators constitute the energy of the pallet, and add the control strategy of direct-drive windpower system to motor control, to simulate different types of wind turbines by following thetorque and speed characteristics of the motor. The platform use PLC to achieve the overall operating logic of turbine and wind turbine simulation by the two ways of collecting wind fieldactual data and local import data. Among them, induction motor as a prime mover with SiemensAC drives vector control technology to complete simulation of wind wheel motioncharacteristics, and permanent magnet synchronous generator connects double PWM topologyfull power back to back to achieve the purpose of energy conversion. On this basis, this paperdesign interface based on the Siemens TIA Portal v12which can be controlled locally orremotely. The experimental platform achieve the functions of a10kw permanent magnet directdrive wind power system’s wind speed conditions simulation, the generator energy outputcharacteristic simulation and trawl protection simulation through the two switching modes ofautomatically experiment and manual experiment.
