With the increasing popularity of high buildings and bridges with large span,the concrete filled steel tube (CFST) is more and more widely used in constructionsof projects. Due to the confinement effect of steel tube to the core concrete and thesupporting effect to the steel tube from the core concrete, the concrete filled steeltube has more excellent mechanical properties compared with steel structure andreinforced concrete structure.The actual work performance of concrete filled steel tube structure is influencedby the service temperature. While the more domestic research is focused on thetemperature resistance performance of concrete-filled steel tubular, and the lessresearch is focused on the structural performance under solar radiation.This paper, based on the National Natural Science Foundation of the Interfacecharacteristics and performance optimization of CFST under the Serviceenvironment, consulting a large number of related literature references, adoptsexperimental analysis method to study on the temperature field and thermal stress.The specific works as follows:(1) By reading the relevant literature and research findings, awareness to thedangers of environmental Temperature changes on the CFST structure, master thelatest research progress on the temperature problem of CFST. By analyzing andsummarizing the impact factor of the temperature field of CFST structure on thebasis of understanding the basic theory of Heat transfer, deduced the boundaryconditions of heat exchange between concrete filled steel tube surface and theoutside world.(2) Making the solar radiation simulator, its radiation intensity, radiationuniformity and radiation stability meet the sun simulator general specificationrequirements.(3) Do the concrete filled steel tube under the effect of solar radiationsimulation test. Making eight concrete filled steel tubular specimens and severalstress boxes, measured the temperature and thermal stress of concrete-filled steeltubular sections during the experiment process and analyze the test data.(4) Using finite element software which is called ANSYS to imitate CFST testunder the effect of solar radiation, analysis the temperature distribution of theconcrete-filled steel tube cross section and compared the analysis results the actual test results.The research of the experiment and theory about the temperature and thermalstress of concrete-filled steel tubular sections under solar radiation in thisdissertation can be used as theoretical basis and technical reference to solve theproblems of temperature effect of concrete filled steel tubular structure design,thereby to accelerate the development of concrete filled steel tube structuretemperature effect.`...
