High magnetic field is a very important tool in the modern scientific research. Pulsedhigh magnetic field is popularly used because it can supply very high magnetic. Researcheson High temperature superconductor、topological insulator and Fermi surface are very hot.Recently, scientists have done some research about material’s electrical transport propertiesin the angular-dependence high magnetic field and they have gotten many importantdiscoveries and research results.Developing a highly efficient measurement system platform with a sample rotatormechanism to achieve magnetic rotation is very needed in scientific research. Rotatingsample holder is a key part in the system, which is an experimental device to installsamples、detecting coils and measuring equipment. However, experiments in high pulsedmagnetic field have to be done at very low temperatures (liquid nitrogen’s temperature is77K, liquid helium’s temperature is4.2K). Also, the magnets have small apertures (usually10mm to30mm), so that detecting space is very narrow. In such harsh experimentalconditions, developing a rotating sample holder with good performance is difficult.At present, there are two kinds of rotating sample holder in the international, but theyneed high manufacturing precision and those designs have small sample planes which willlimit the sample’s size and kinds. A new kind of rotating sample holder that can satisfy therequirements of our experiments is developed in this paper. This sample holder has highermeasurement precision, higher angle controlling reliability, better stability, and canmaximize the use space. Using this sample holder, some electrical transport measurementhas been done which then verified its feasibility and measurement precision.In this paper, the research background and significance of the high pulse magneticfield and some important scientific research results with angular dependence magnetic fieldwere introduced. Then gave introduction of two kinds of sample rotating holder designs inthe international and introduced in detail about its design and the method of how itcalibrated the rotation angle. Techniques of electric transport measurement were studied,including a novel non-contact (PDO) measurement technology. Finally, using alternating current transport method, BiSb alloy’s electrical transport properties were measured in highmagnetic field with different experiment angles. The results were compared with whatmeasured with PPMS to verify its feasibility and measurement precision.
