With the rapid development of automobile industry in our country, our country’sautomobile air-condition market are also in constant development and expansion. Themicrochannel heat exchanger as the current developing trend of air-condition. The core ofthe heat exchanger is one of the main components. Currently most of the assembly of thecores is manual assembly or semi-automatic assembly, the production efficiency is lowand labor intensity is tremendous, also there is a lot of defective products. It’s productiontechnology also needs to be further improved. Based on this situation, this paper beginningresearch from the components of the core, the main contents are as follows:The whole scheme is put forward on the basis of analysis of the main components ofthe heat exchanger as the header pipe, flat tube and fins and research of the traditionalproduction process of manual assembly and semi-automatic assembly.The core-pressing is designed and a automatic detection device is put forward. With thedevice the problem of defective product without side-flat tube in traditional process is solved.The method to fix the header pipe is optimized and the universality of header pipe-pressing isproved. A device to locate the fin is designed and the problem of fin-aligning problem issolved before header pipe-pressing. Three plans for core-planish mechanism are made andselected the optimal one.Mechanical analysis for core-pressing mechanism is made, design for rising-deviceisproved. The fatigue damage position is found. Modal analysis is made to analyse thepossible location of syntony.The process of header pipe-pressing motion is simulated. The force needed during theprocess of header pipe-pressing is calculated by Motion. The structure is optimized withand stress distribution is provedwith mechanical analysis.
