Battery is important spare power system of modern ship, playing a very important rolefor the normal operation of ship. With the increasing of service life, its function will slowlydecay, even breakdown. If we keep damaged battery continue working on ship, that maycause serious results, so it’s very important thing to monitor the working condition of battery.This thesis start from the optical path design of battery photoelectric sensor, combined withthe actual environment of the battery, design the structure of photoelectric sensor.Firstly, the paper describes the principle of optical measurement, and analyze the actualapplication environment of system and internal frame of system. We advance that thestructure of system should meet the requirement of anti-acid, sealing, non-sticky, antishockon the basis of analysis,then we advance the overall scheme of structure,and ascertain thatthe structure of system is consisted of the supporting structure of optical sensor、fixingstructure of optical receiver and circuit board、structure of system in package, and weidentify the specific parts it required for each part of the structure.Secondly, according to the overall scheme of the system,we determine the structure ofthe specific design of each part, combining with the optical measurement system,demonstrating the coordination between the parts and design principle of the parts, weensure that the structure can meet the requirements; We process on the basis of the designdrawings, get the parts and completed the instrument assembly.Finally, we ascertain the appraisal standard of reliability of photoelectric sensorstructure, and design the experimental scheme for initial laboratory and following actualapplication. The experimental results show that the preliminary design scheme can meet therequirements of laboratory, but its tightness of the edge of optical sensing surface is notgood in the actual environment. After we improve the sealing methods of edge of opticalsensing surface, it smoothly reach the requirements of laboratory, and has done well for threemonths in the actual environment, proving that the design of the structure of thephotoelectric sensor can meet the needs of practical applications.
