This paper presents virtual instrument technology applications in the power systemharmonic analysis, using labwindows/cvi editing virtual instrument software interface inthe PC combined with hardware detection platform to detect and analyze PWM Rectifiergrid side harmonic parameters, it is relatively ideal detection accuracy and meet therequirements of the detection system.Firstly, introduce the existing harmonic analysis technology at the present stage, chosethe most widely used method of harmonic analysis at present and detailed talk the basictheory and related issues of FFT algorithm as well as the ADC data acquisition softwarecalibration method.Secondly, introduces power harmonic analysis system in detail based on virtual instrumenttechnology from two aspects of hardware and software. The signal to be detected and hardwareplatform of platform are proposed, Focuses on the design and parameters of the network sidevoltage, current, DC bus voltage detection circuit, signal conditioning, fault detection circuitcalculations, external expansion precision ADC conversion circuit and DSP circuits for thecommunications platform for the next crew and made into a circuit board.on software,describes system virtual instrument control interface design and realization of the instrumentfunctions, Focuses on software implementation ideas of the data acquisition module,harmonic parameter processing module, data archiving and read the disk function, usingRS232serial bus data acquisition transfer; using fast Fourier transform on data collectionharmonic detection, and harmonic analysis results are displayed in the numerical displaypanel.Finally, test the grid side parameters and analysis the result errors, describe theshortcomings of the system and outlook the development of the parameters detection and analysissystem based on virtual instrument.
