With the rapid development of economy and the growing energy crisis today, thecombined cooling, heating and power (CCHP) system, which is energy-saving,environmental-friendly, high energy efficiency and economical, received great attentionfrom the world.In this paper, compared with the traditional separation production system, a typicalCCHP system is studied. This article is mainly about the system optimization, discussingthe economic, energy-saving and environmental features of the CCHP system under thefollowing-the-thermal load and the following-the-electrical load models. Using theintegrated performance criterion as objective function, this paper also optimizes the CCHPsystem which is used in five different climatic zones and discusses it’s application featuresin China.Firstly, our climate is partitioned based on the design standard for energy efficiencyof public buildings. This article selects office buildings as a typical object, simulates theyear hourly cooling, heating and power loads of the building models of five typicalclimatic zones (Beijing, Harbin, Shanghai, Kunming, Guangzhou) using DeST software.The annual hourly electricity load is calculated by the use of area index method.Secondly, after determining the composition of CCHP system and separationproduction system, the energy flow balancing and equipment load and efficienc y of thetwo systems are restrained respectively. Then the systems are evaluated in economic,energy-saving and environmental features. And this paper also selects the applicab leevaluation indexes for CCHP system.Thirdly, taking the Beijing office buildings for example, combined with the data ofthe year hourly cooling, heating and power loads, the equipment capacity of CCHP systemare configured under the following-the-thermal load and the following-the-electrical loadmodels.Then the operating conditions and the economic, energy-saving and environmentalindicators of the system are analyzed.Finally, taking the drive apparatus’ capacity as a variable, the maximum overallperformance evaluation index as the objective function, using Matlab software to optimize the system, the whole year8760hours of hot and cold electric load data of the officebuilding models of the five regions are entered to get the values of the five bestvalue-driven equipment capacity. According to the results, comparing the overa llperformance of systems in the five places, we get the application features of the CCHPsystem used in the office buildings from different climatic zones in China.
