With the rapid development of Chinese economy, the number of private cars in Chinais rapidly increase, Traffic jam and the problem of parking has become the city’s biggestdevelopment obstacles. The problem must solve that how to enhance the efficient use ofparking management. In response, design based on magnetic sensor intelligent parkingmanagement system is proposed.System consists of sensor terminal, data relay terminal, data collection terminal andPC. Sensor terminal collect the magnetic sensor signals. The relay terminal will receive thedata to be uploaded to the data collection terminal, data collection terminal will through theserial port to transmit data to PC. Finally, the data will be display through PC.Sensor terminal uses the battery to supply power. Sensor terminal uses ultralow-powersensors and MCU, such as MSP430, CC2500and HMC5883L. This can reduce energyconsumption of the system. Experimental results show that the system power is about0.7mW, using conventional3.7V lithium battery-powered, you can let the system work formore than four years.Through simulation tests,analyze three kind of common parking situations.We canknow that Geomagnetic sensor can judge the use of the parking area effectively, thedetection accuracy rate can reach more than97%. The result of the system test shows thatthe system can meet the need of real-time detection of vehicles parking.
