In contemporary China, with the rapid development of the economy, the ensuring sharp increase of car ownership has become an inevitable trend. Although per capita car ownership has been increasing, due to limitations of the land, the parking space number hasn’t increased in accordance with the corresponding proportion. Underground parking is available in a number of large shopping malls or shopping centers. Parking in these spaces is indeed convenient and easy to manage, and all vehicles can be managed only by one entrance or one exit. Although there are many underground parkings, compared with the sharp increase in the number of cars, the gap is still very large. The construction of the underground parking is limited by a variety of factors, such as relying on building, population density, capital investment. It is very difficult too only from the economic benefits. Based on the above reasons, illegally parked vehicles on both sides of street can be found everywhere, and this exacerbates the traffic congestion, In order to solve the problem of difficult parking, this paper presents a solution of open-ed parking technology based on wireless sensor network.This solution differs from the current popular close-ed parking management mode, through the automated management mode. It uses full of the role of public parking lots, the parking of vehicle will be more convenient, improves the using efficency of public parking and the management level. This article made the following major work:(1) Design and implement a geomagnetic sensor-based open parking vehicles parked state detection device. According to the principle that chunk of ferromagnetic object’interference to geomagnetic field will change the quantity of magnetism of three dimension, thereby it will determin the verhicle parking status, and send vehicle parking status to the management center through wireless sensor networks;(2) Design afully automatic payment RFID (radio frequency) device. The device obtains the vehicle parking statu and duration according to the geomagnetic sensor, triggers the tag ID of the verhicle which is parking in the very parking place, according to the parking fee calculated by the system, and parking fee can be debited from owners’ special cards. (3) Design and implement a query subsystem which aims at charging, parking status display, save and provide parking historiacal record.The research of wireless network control and charging technology of parking space based on magnetoresistive sensor, it provides technical support to effectively solve the difficultly parking problem.
