Frank Lloyd Wright is an outstanding architect who was rooted in NativeAmerican culture, translating the laws of nature into architectural creation, formingthe formation of organic architecture ideas and successfully created many wonderfulworks of exceptional architecture. In this paper, focusing on Wright’s organicarchitecture ideas, based on relevant research results at home and abroad, the writerwants to make the idea of organic architecture design clearly and analysis it withcertain rules, revealing Wright connotation of this stems from the nature of the designideas, while further concluding Wright’s idea about the organic architecture especiallyafter the development context of organic architecture, fully exhibiting the descendantsof the Wright inheritance and forward thinking, and creative tendencies incontemporary organic architecture.This paper is divided into two parts. The first part of the paper systematicallydescribes Wright’s organic architecture ideological connotations. Firstly, classifies thematerials of Wright’s organic architecture and organize relevant information to make amore clear framework, and then focus on the characteristics of organic architecture,explains the details of its meaning from three levels: firstly, to reveal the relationshipbetween architecture and the integration of the external environment, includingaspects of space, form, materials, etc.; secondly to match the various elements ofbuilding based on the authenticity of the internal structure, mainly discusses therelationship of structure, materials, space and form; The third is the continuity ofspace and meandering method focusing on the performance characteristics of its spaceand the path of the organization based on human experience. The second partdescribes the extension of Wright’s organic architecture development ideas, which isbroken down into two levels. The first thought discusses inheritance and developmentof organic architecture after Wright; the following describes widespread impact fromWright on contemporary architects.
