The structure of the interlayer displacement Angle is the important indicators of structuralstiffness and deformation. Specification in our country, the limits of the interlayer displacementAngle of structure in the main is to limit under the condition of normal use of the horizontaldisplacement of structure, to ensure that the structure has enough stiffness and deformation ofa certain ability, avoid to produce too large displacement and the influence of the structurebearing capacity, stability and normal use requirements.If the interlayer displacement Angle does not meet the specification requirements, explainstructure is unable to meet the above requirements. But the interlayer displacement Angle is toosmall, then the structure stiffness is too large, the structure of the seismic response increases, inaddition to cause construction costs increase, but the structure of the seismic unfavorable. Ifcan relax appropriately interlayer displacement Angle limitation of the structure, decrease thewall, column area of the vertical components, such as structure under horizontal load can beensured not produce too large, the deformation of the structure design and economical andpractical.Compared with the United States, Japan and other countries, our country specificationbetween layers of the structure displacement Angle more stringent limits, the limits ofreasonable rules and further explore the necessary of understanding. This article on this question,through several engineering examples, some structure model is set up, by changing the verticalstiffness, analysis the elastic interlayer displacement Angle and elastoplastic interlayerdisplacement Angle of change and its associated, in satisfies the requirement of structurebearing capacity, stability, and use under the premise of reasonable relax structure interlayerdisplacement Angle limitation of Suggestions, so as to reduce construction costs of building inChina.In this paper, the main work includes the following:(1) starting from mechanics principle is discussed under horizontal load stress deformationcharacteristics of high-rise building structure system.(2) in this paper, the structure control of lateral rigidity, and structure the composition ofthe interlayer displacement, the interlayer deformation control structure of the three parameters: the interlayer displacement Angle, harmful interlayer displacement Angle and area, thecalculation method of the generalized shear deformation and its rationality.(3) through the frame structure, shear wall structure and frame-core tube structureengineering example, introducing the concept of harmful interlayer displacement Angle,analysis under horizontal load engineering examples of flexible interlayer displacement Angleand harmful interlayer displacement Angle and the change characteristics of elastoplasticinterlayer displacement Angle, argument in satisfies the requirement of structure bearingcapacity, stability, and use under the premise of reasonable relax structure interlayerdisplacement Angle limitation of feasibility.
