With the developmet of world economic, the more and more growing demands for oil andgas resources. At present, the land and shallow sea area of oilfield exploration and developmenthas passed, but exploration and development for the deep water area of oilfield is progressingquickly. The helideck is very important structure and installed on different vessel and offshoreplatform. It is an important daily and emergency transportation structuret used for helicopterlanding and storingEnsure the helicopter safe landing, and that are required in the rules.The floating production storage unit (FPSO) compared with other offshore unit, it havestrong ability to resist the wind and waves, to be operated in the depth of the water widely, bigcapacity, to be easy transferred, the advantages of repeated use. At present, the domestic FPSOare used in shallow water area within500meters, which is a small tonnage, production capacity.But foreign FPSO is developed more large (300000tons), cab be operated in the depth (2000meters) water area. At the same time, for reducing the production schedules and cost, the FPSOconvered by VLCC vessel are in the majority. In fact, the technological development of thedomestic FPSO is behind foreign.This study is to analyze helideck of the FPSO, contrast the internal and external standardsand regulations. Using the finite element software to calculate helideck structure to optimize thestructure. At the same time, researching and optimizing the production process of the helideck toensure the construction quality.
