With the marine economy increasingly brought to the attention of the world,the competiton of marine resources development has been increasing fiercely.Ocean engineering is a high-tech high capital investment industry.Because of late start,the technical level in China is relatively low.The oil & gas resource in the South China Sea were illegally mining by other neighboring countries,so the national strategy for development of marine equipment is necessary and imperative.Offshore oil and gas production equipment could be mainly divided into the drilling,production units and oilfield services units.Adding a HELIDECK is partial work of 86 m ocean service vessel(OSV)reconstruction project,this article intends to offer an integrated solution about series helideck design problems.As a typical OSV,newly equipped with a function module which of big weight and large volume,will encounter some problems such as re-considering the general arrangement and re-evaluating the longitudinal strength and local strength.In the design progress of helideck,not only need to fulfill multiple functions,but also should ensure its structure with enough strength and rigidity.Through analysising the overall ship structure shape characteristic and equipment space-taking demand,the helideck position is determined by using space-exclusion method.Use geometric constraint method and the direct calculation method to determine the height position of the landing deck,ruled out the possibility of the negative impact to the navigation visibility casused by helideck supports.Through analyzing the helideck force combining with the characteristics of the original ship structure to make a preliminary helideck structure design scheme.Combining with the referent specification requirements and actual design demand,solve the delideck design issues such as fire fighting systems,escape route arrangement,safety protection,landing deck marking system and other issues step by step.Through a direct calculation based on rules get the precise acceleration of the helideck location,it provides the basis for subsequent structure strength analysis.Comparing the general load codes for architecture with ocean engineering rules,then determine the reasonable basic loads subentry coefficient.The finite element analysis software GeniE offers a direct and convenient method to check the structure integrity strength and complex joints strength,and it could lead to an optimized result.The helicopter location choice is harmonious to the ship's general arrangement;its functions,structural strength meet the requirements of actual use and fulfill all of the specification.This research settles a helideck design procedure and provides a integrate structure design scheme,it is with some referent value for similar medium-sized OSV rebuilding project.In additional,some study included in this article maybe worth paying a little attention to for other designers,such as the navigation visibility checking,the hull loacal structure reinforcement design.
