High-voltage distribution network is one of the important channels connecting thetransmission grid and medium-voltage distribution network. According to the electric powerdepartment,85%of the national power is transferred to the users by35~110kV high-voltagedistribution network. So the safety and reliability and economy operation of high-voltagedistribution network is the precondition of grid benign operation. As the selection of theconnection mode of high-voltage distribution network planning is especially important on a globalin the city network planning, it is necessary to analyze and study it in-depth. However, selecting aconnection mode to adapt to a planning city should be weighed against the power supplyreliability, economy, planning area geographical environment, vision and many other factors. Ingeneral, to realize the power grid safe and economic operation, using the typical connection modeto construct the network has important significance on the the standardization of the networkframe and rationalization of structure.Based on the zhuhai110kV high-voltage power distribution network, this paper analysesand compares the urban high-voltage distribution network connection mode from reliability andeconomy in depth. Firstly, it analyzes the present application situation of the domestic and foreignurban high-voltage distribution network connection mode and its development trend. And it alsosummarizes the present research situation and the deficiencies. Then a comprehensive analysis ofthe current situation of zhuhai110kV high-voltage distribution network connection mode,distribution and the existing problems is given. Secondly, the double radiation, bilateral powersupply3T and chain connection mode power supply model programs under different powersupply region and different load distribution are constructed. Combining the reality of zhuhaiconnection mode ratio distribution and load growth, the proposed three-T and double chain twokinds of connection modes are put forward. Considering the actual load distribution, the technicaland economic power supply mode analysis model is established. The economy index of minimumannual cost for unit load and the reliability index of maximum average service availability areadopted and quantified for zhuhai110kV high-voltage distribution network three-T and doublechain two kinds of typical connection modes to study their trends under different load density andtransformer capacity. And different connection modes in the same condition are also compared.Finally, based on the comprehensive analysis of the technical and economic characteristics of thetypical connection modes and different actual situation, several connection modes which havecertain reference significance are recommended.
