At present, a lot of influential fieldbus standards have formed in the worldwide and CANbus is the most widely used in the field of automotive. ETHERNET Powerlink coming fromEurope has obvious advantages in terms of timeliness and reliability. The introduction ofreal-time Ethernet POWERLINK into door control system can significantly improve the speed ofdata transmission and the timeliness and the reliability.This paper makes an analysis to theory and implement of POWERLINK bus. It proposesthe overall design of a door control system and the development process of hardware andsoftware design, from the actual needs of the door control system. Hardware design anddevelopment consists of Freescale microcontroller hardware design, POWERLINKcommunication circuit and motor drive control circuit of each module. Software Design mainlyconsists of microcontroller control instructions, the implement of POWERLINK communicationprotocol and control program of various modules. Based on the analysis and simulation windowmotor mathematical model, window pinch function is designed to Window control system forsafety, which focuses on how to detect and identify whether the body is caught and control therapid decline to the window to make sure personal safety.A lot of trials and testing is performed in order to be reasonable and reliable. One is the testto POWERLINK real-time and reliability using the Wireshark network analysis software; theother is the "semi-physical" simulation to the detection window pinch control performance usingA&D Company AD5435(modular universal controller and simulation platform). The windowcontrol circuit is converted to an output signal through AD5435to the control window. All testsget good results.
