The Door Controller is a vital part of the vehicle.Whether it is for the new mainstream HEV(Hybrid Electric Vehicle)or the traditional fuel vehicle,the door controller is indispensable.Due to its function of door locking and window lifting,the door controller also relates to the safety of the driver and passengers in some urgent cases.Therefore,the development and improvement of the door controller has always been carried on in automobile industry.Compared with the traditional lumped door control system,the new distributed door control system is a trend.Because the driver door module plays a leading role in the whole system,so completing the driver door module will give a good guidance for the design of the remaining modules in whole distributed door control system.This paper designed a driver door control module based on a distributed door control system solution provided by ON Semiconductor and a dedicated MCU from RENESAS.All the control and diagnosis for the driver door control module are carried out on that platform.The research work is summarized as following:1.The design scheme is given based on the functional architecture of the driver door control module and the parameter requirements of each sub-functional module.The technical specifications for each required modules are also provided.2.The detailed design for the important Hall sensor circuit is given.The performance of the Hall sensor circuit with the design requirements is verified by calculating the circuit parameters under different temperatures,different tolerances and different external input conditions of the respective components.It shows the rigor and professional aspects of hardware design.In order to ensure that all design requirements are met,the DxDesigner tool is used to do the circuit design and PCB design of the rest of the module.3.An experimental test bench is established to test the various functional parameters of the design prototypes.The measurement results show that the design prototypes work well and meet the design goal and requirements.Through a series of durability and reliability test,the durability and reliability of the design prototypes are fully verified.The system test results showed that all measured specifications of the designed prototype meet the design goal and design requirements.All the inputs/outputs are in the designed parameter range.All these tests guarantee that the future products meet the customer’s requirements and design goal.The durability and reliability of the design prototypes are also fully verified to meet the product life expectancy,avoiding the various reliability problems in the future use.
