In recent years, with the rapid development of domestic society and economy, thephenomenon of environment pollution becomes increasingly serious. In the process ofpursuing low-carbon life, green adobe building again aroused wide attention andresearch interests. Rammed earth construction is broadly divided into two categories,traditional rammed earth buildings and modern rammed earth buildings. Currently, thestudy of foreign rammed earth construction has been toward standardization direction,began to move toward evidence-based design, material standardization, qualityassessment procedures of the higher levels; domestic research is differentiated into twoaspects: architecture scholars concern is born historical soil architecture, culture, energyand sustainable development, and the basic structure of the experimental study of themechanical properties of traditional rammed earth construction to focus on, but thestudy of the seismic performance of modern rammed earth construction techniquesrarely.This article unifies the country which the topic-based group applies "973project "and the twelfth five-year science and technology Support Program" and the other topicduties, mainly through the building model shaking table test methods to conductin-depth study of the seismic performance of modern residential rammed earth structure.The main research contents include:This article first has defined the modern rammed earth structure and then analyzedthe ramming materials, ramming equipment, technology and other aspects of rammingimproved methods and principles and then made a comprehensive elaboration of the research of the current application research.The paper following take the double slope roof prototype house1/2scale model asan object, through simulated earthquake shaking table test, the structure of modernrammed earth buildings under the influence of different acceleration peak intensity ofthe earthquake damage characteristics, failure pattern, dynamic characteristics,acceleration and displacement reaction were studied, at the same time with the team tocomplete the rammed earth flat roof of cast-in-situ concrete structure model shakingtable test results of the comparison and analysis. The results show that, with effectivestructural measures proposed by the scientific research group ramming goodperformance, making modern rammed earth building seismic performance has beensignificantly improved, suffered the equivalent of8degrees rare earthquake, the modernrammed earth structure not only can continue to carry the load bearing, moreoverdisplays the good distortion ability.The paper finally draws support from the ansys finite element software, and carryson the elastic analysis of the single gable roof of modern rammed earth structure,discusses the features and weak parts of the prototype house under gravity loads andseismic forces deform the housing.and then carries on the contrast with the shake tableexperiment result.
