Since Plug-pin Steel-stube Scaffold was introduced into China, it has been widelyapplied in engineering for its convenient arrangement method,. However, theunderstanding of Plug-pin Scaffold,as a type of important temporary facilities, is notdeep enough.In order to exploit and popularize the scaffolding, some relevantexperimental and theoretical studies are made.In accordance with the hinged, rigid and semi-rigid scaffolds, the theories andcalculating models related to scaffold, as well as the classification of node type andnumerical models of semi-rigid connections are summaried. The paper concludes theelement stiffness matrix about the major components of scaffold: standingtube,horizontal tube,slant tube,ect. On this basis, the research methods applicable to thisarticle are determined.The major influencing factors of double external scaffolding include longitudinalspacing, transverse spacing and lift height of upright tube, the height of bottomreinforcing tube and installation of connected anchor in wall, distribution of loads,initial defects,wind loads,etc..According to these factors, the article explores theireffects on ultimate bearing capacity of ADG Scaffolding, On this basis someSuggestions of the ADG scaffold construction measures are proposed. Combined withpractical engineering examples, it analyzes the static and capacity for formwork andexternal cantilevered scaffold with ansys finite element software, the result shows thatthe stable bearing capacity of scaffold is high, the stubes are good under the stress,ADG scaffolding has obvious semi-rigidity, the carrying capacity of formwork supportstanding tube when stiffness K takes20kN·m/rad is almost consistent to that under French standard.In order to verify the safety for ADG Scaffolding in special-shaped structures, thestrain of formwork for the whole construction process and external cantilevered scaffoldsimulating construction loads has been detected.It turns out that the vertical poles forconstruction process are in elastic state and the stress is minor, the results of detectionand numerical analysis are better anastomosous. According to the characteristics ofADG scaffolding structure, three kinds of ADG scaffolding for basic units that aregeometric invariant are studied, baced on the assumption about models of hinged jointsand bace plates, the paper provides several erection methods of the scaffolding.From the results of this study, it has a certain reference value to understand themechanical properties of such scaffolding and promote the application of the products.
