As the fossil energy drying up, the development of renewable energy has become the only way to solve the world’s energy problems. Considering the energy use and development potential of the environmental factors, solar power has become one of the most promising energy in many kinds of renewable energy.. Therefore, the solar photovoltaic power generation technology is becoming more and more being valued, concerned, and applied in the practical engineering.In order to save conventional energy consumption in a building, and at the same time protecting the atmospheric environment, this paper studies the supply application of the photovoltaic curtain wall in fresh air supply system of a building and the method of using air supply way to reduce energy consumption of the fresh air. Firstly, xi’an green China biological company office building is as an example to do the feasibility study and the energy analysis of the normal operation power consumption as the photovoltaic curtain wall is used to drive the air fresh system and the air conditioning systems of the building for a cycle day. The results show that for a day cycle, the generating capacity of photovoltaic power generation supply for the fresh air system is basic feasible, which means the generating capacity is basically equal to and the power consumption. But outside power supply is needed if using this generating capacity for the normal operation of the whole air conditioning system, and photovoltaic power generation can provide only around a quarter of their power consumption.Secondly, DeST software was used to do the all-year hourly simulation analysis calculation for photovoltaic power generation to provide fresh air system of the power of, which is used to validate the feasibility and volatility of the photovoltaic curtain wall power in the application of energy supplies of the fresh air system in a building. The economy analysis of photovoltaic curtain design and installation program shows that the economic recovery for the photovoltaic glass building all installation duration is about10.58years, and only the economic recovery period of the north wall without the photovoltaic glass curtain wall is about8.89years. Compared with ordinary glass curtain wall installation, the photovoltaic glass curtain wall saves the total energy consumption of air conditioning system, and results a shorter t economic recovery Considering the thermal energy of photovoltaic glass, the economic recovery period of the building with the photovoltaic curtain wall is about7.63year, while the economic recovery period of the north wall without the photovoltaic glass curtain wall is about6.77years. If the difference in electricity peak valley is taken into consideration, photovoltaic glass economic recovery period will be shorter, so the photovoltaic (pv) glass will have a wide prospect in application.Finally, this paper proposes a more energy saving and economical photovoltaic design installation program combined different ventilation methods. First of all, the influence of different air distribution mode on air quality of breathing zone was analyzes. Based on Fluent simulation calculation, after the analysis of the research of new wind field features, we have the conclusion that middle sending top back is more suitable for fresh air system compared to top sending top back and low sending top back. So the middle sending mode can effectively reduce the fresh air flow rate and save the consumption of fresh air system if keeping the guarantee human activity regions at a same new volume, which results power consumption of fresh air system reducing and the stress of the electricity peak valley getting catabatic. Second, the economic analysis of the new air circulating system after energy saving showed that the east wall the north wall without photovoltaic glass wall design scheme of the economic recovery period is about7.64years. Compared with ordinary glass curtain wall, the photovoltaic glass curtain wall saves the total energy consumption of air conditioning system, which results a shorter economic recovery period, is about5.33years. Finally, based on simulation results of office building in Xi’an area, a more energy saving and economical design program combined middle sending top back ventilation method and electricity generation with photovoltaic curtain wall is proposed, which is installing photovoltaic curtain wall only in the south, west and southwest and using middle sending top back mode can achieve the purpose of the supply application of photovoltaic curtain wall in fresh air system.
