Discussion And Practice On "New Urbanism Community" In China

This paper analysis from the late1990s to now, why is there a lot of "newurbanism community" in China, analyze the causes、background and character of itsgenerated. Through in-depth understanding of the background and core ideas of theAmerican New Urbanism, and we based on a realistic case, analysis of “newurbanism community "reflected the problem in china, and the essence distinction ofChinese New Urbanism Communities and American New Urbanism Communities,and it conflicts with our existing urban development. Finally, combined with theactual situation of China’s urban development and my working practices, put forwardsome suggestions on community planning and design.
