Aerospace technology is an important symbol of comprehensive national power,and the developmental level of rockets technology which as one of the most importantaerospace technology has an intimate connection with the progress of the whole spacetechnology and comprehensive national power. Further moreļ¼Œthe developmental levelof rocket engine which is the core device of rocket affects the progress of theaerospace technology directly. Now, the demand of reusable rocket engine is growingwith the development of reusable space craft, and the third fluid cooled cycle (TFC)also catches more and more attention because of its great promoting effect toperformance improvement and reusability of rocket engine. So, the research of TFCgoes into agenda gradually and become more and more necessary as its starting stageboth in domestic and foreign country. This article makes an preliminarily analysis tothe liquid oxygen and kerosene rocket engine when it turns to adopt TFC fromregenerative cooling to get the best pressure and flow rate of TFC.Because the thermal physical property parameter of combustion gas is the originof the heat transfer calculation and analysis of the rocket engine thrust chamber, thisarticle presents the calculation formulas and method of the combustion gas parameter,including some fitting formulas which can easily estimate the combustion gasparameter by the gas temperature, to guarantee the heat transfer calculation of coolingmove on successfully. Through the calculation analysis, this article gains the range ofpressure and flow rate of TFC, for mapping the temperature changing curve of thrustchamber wall under the pressure range when the coolant adopts maximal and minimalflow rate and the curve of maximal and minimal flow rate changing with differentpressure, etc.Meanwhile, this article makes a weight analysis of the TFC on liquid oxygen andkerosene rocket engine by weight calculation model, and presents the formulas ofturbine work, pump work, pump head, angular velocity of pump, etc. for getting thecurve of third fluid pump weight, condenser weight and COP changing with differentpressure when coolant adopts maximal and minimal flow rate. The conclusion is nomatter the coolant adopts maximal or minimal flow rate, the weight of third pump changes a little when pressure changes and less than the weight of oxygen, fuel andcondenser. So when determine the best pressure and flow rate of TFC, the weight ofcondenser should be least. In this article, the best flow rate is the minimum flow rate5.64kg/s under the best evaporating pressure8MPa in the evaporating pressure rangefrom0.8MPa to8MPa...
