Automobile Design In A New Energy Era

Come into the world in year1886, automobile has experienced a history of crapshoot for more than one hundred years into the21st century. The continuous advancement of automobile as well as the great development of automobile industry has greatly changed human life. With the ceaseless popularization and development of automobile, it has gone into thousands of households. Nevertheless, automobile society has also caused a series of problems and crisis such as overuse of energy, over-discharge of pollutions and more congestion of traffic. Therefore, the automobile design in future should not only resolve people’s travel problems, but moreover resolve a series problems which concerns travel, environment as well as energy.The automobile design in future is already not a pure product design, but a design program of travel system. Viewed from the international society, the trip mode which combines public and private travel methods has become one of the mainstreams of trip mode for modern urban communications. It also embodies the important symbol of modern automobile society’s civilization. However, at this moment in our country, automobile industry is still very much in its infancy, and urban construction and planning is also in exploring. Therefore, we need to consider the problem of how to do automobile design as well as urban construction planning from various angles. In future, automobile design not only needs to satisfy normal people’s needs, but also needs to satisfy the needs of energy, environment as well as trip mode. This is also the environmental concerns that embodied in the futuristic automobile design.The main study method of this thesis:(1) study the current situation of development in automobile industry and the crisis it faces;(2) from a macroscopic angle of trip mode, study the trip mode which suits public transport priority and private transport supplement. Also from this angle, study the futuristic new-energy automobile design.(3) Based on the advanced technology of new energy, new technology, new technique, study how to apply them to futuristic new-energy automobile design, therefore resolve the problems of energy and environment.It is because new-energy automobile, from abroad and home, are all in exploring period, and now the overseas society has not a consolidated standard and development approach, this study topic has there inform a more and bigger innovation space. This thesis, not only lays emphasis on the study of macroscopic trip mode, but also based on it, more pay attention to a microscopic analysis and interpretation of futuristic new-energy automobile design used new energy technology, new materials technology, and new techniques. The main innovation points are:(1) the systematic reorganization of the more than one hundred years of automobile development history;(2) from comparison studies and analysis of new-energy automobile varieties, guide audience to pay attention to the nature of new-energy automobile;(3) from the study of current urban communication planning, put forward the unique angle of public transport priority and private transport supplement.(4) by referring large amount of material and documents, interpret the idea of how to use new energy technology, new material technology and new technique for futuristic new-energy automobile design.(5) aimed at the characteristics of Shanghai current urban development, put forward a detailed trip mode and a design of small electric vehicle that suits the trip mode.By studies and design, this thesis finally proposed a initiated trip mode of public transport priority and private transport supplement, also elaborated how to design the small electric vehicles to satisfy customer group need in this environment mode. The thesis will establish a basis for follow-up new-energy automobile design and development.
