Linear motor is an important electrical equipment. Because of its high speed linear motion,fast dynamic response, simple structure and so on,it often referred to as straight line driving device is widely used in industrial automation production. However,the servo drive system which contain linear motor is complex nonlinear system. System itself exists parameter perturbation,load disturbance and other uncertain factors,at the same time the end effect and the cogging effect are generated due to the linear motor structure,which further increase the difficulty of control to servo system. The Hamiltonian system as an important field in the study of nonlinear science,it provides a new approach to solve the control problem of the nonlinear system. This article is based on the generalized Hamiltonian system theory,through the way of the system energy forming,realize the speed control of permanent magnet linear synchronous motor.This paper introduced the working principle of the linear motor, development and application status,analyzed some of the commonly used control methods for ac motor firstly. And then,established the mathematical model of a permanent magnet linear synchronous motor in the d-q coordinate system. On this basis,studied current vector control mode on permanent magnet linear synchronous motor,analyzed the disturbance factors which affect the control to linear motor and discussed disturbance rejection measures. According of the understanding of the Hamiltonian system theory and its implementation,converted the servo control system model into a feedback dissipative Hamiltonian system form,and get the feedback control law of the system. Considering the unknown load resistance and the presence of disturbance,built the load resistance observation. At the same time under the premise of unchanging the system structure,in order to make the system with fast response ability and strong robustness, designed a speed sliding mode variable structure controller of the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor. Finally,used the Matlab/Simulink simulation tool to simulate servo control system. As a result of the simulation,adopting feedback disspative Hamiltonian system structure to design the controller can make system to obtain fast response and strong ability of disturbance rejection,and with the speed sliding mode controller’s introducing,it further improved the performance of the system.
