IoV (Internet of Vehicles) technology is specific applications of IoT (Internet of Things) technology in the field of intelligent transportation.Developing IoV technology has great significance to enhance traffic management and improve traffic efficiency. With the continuous development of IoV technology, the IoV system holds the more amount of information, and the heavier workload. How to ensure the real-time data and information dissemination of the IoV system, how to solve the handling and storage of massive data and information of the IoV system, how to ensure the safe and efficient resource management of the IoV system, become a matter of focus.In this context, combine IoV technology with Cloud Computing technology, building the IoV cloud system for intelligent transportation, handle and manage massive data and resources, has important significance for the development of intelligent transportation.This paper mainly includes the following aspects:(1)Architecture research.The traditional IoV system "End Pipe Cloud" secondary architecture has deficiency in real-time dissemination and information capacity.We design the IoV cloud system "Center cloud-Roadside Cloud-Vehicle Cloud" three-layer architecture. We’ve added a roadside cloud on the basis of traditional architecture, forming the three-layer IoV cloud system. Such architecture can not only greatly reduce the load on the center of the cloud, but also increase the information capacity of the IoV system. Improving timeliness and reliability of the IoV cloud system, and reducing network and other information delay.(2)The Research and experiment of IaaS cloud platform. According to the characteristics of three-layer architecture of the IoV cloud system, we chose the open source cloud platform called OpenStack as the IaaS solution. OpenStack has a very open and distributed architecture, we deployed the Control Node,Storage Node and Network Node in the center of the cloud, as the IoV cloud system management center; and deployed Compute Nodes in roadside clouds, responsible for the management and operation of the VM.(3)Efficient and security management of cloud resources.The Roadside Cloud and Vehicle Cloud provide cloud resources in the form of VM. We propose a resource allocation method based on non-cooperative game, in order to improve the efficiency of resource allocation in the cloud; at the same time, we also propose a security mechanism for VM to improve resource safety of the IoV Cloud System.
