Along with the rapid development of China’s economy, if handing the construction waste by traditional way, 150 million to 200 million square meters of land will be occupied annually. Construction waste has the characteristics of large quantity and resource-oriented. Geotextile bags retaining wall develop rapidly due to its simple construction, low cost, good reinforcement effect and environmental protection. It has positive significance for solving the problem of a large area of land occupied, resource conservation and environment protection by using built slag in geotextile bags slope supporting project. In this paper, the main contents of this paper include: 1) the physical and mechanical properties of construction slag; 2) force performance analysis of soilbags filled with built slag; 3) analyze the effect of geotextile bags on built slag and the effect of geotechnical buckle by study on friction characteristics of built slag, geotextile bags; 4) study on pressure distribution and bearing characteristics by model experiment under different conditions of different widths and different slope ratio of retaining wall. Improve the theoretical design method of retaining wall of soilbags filled with built slag by comparing the measured earth pressure with the calculated values.Research shows that built slag is a good kind of filler material and soilbags filled with built slag has high uniaxial compressive strength. Rrtaining wall back earth pressure of soilbags filled with built slag first increase and then decreased with the height of wall and the distribution is a drum-type. Analysis the influence of wall width and slope ratio on settlement, horizontal displacement and back earth pressure.Discuss the design method of retaining wall of soilbags filled with built slag and compare with the experimental values. Retaining wall of soilbags filled with built slag has the advantage of easily obtained, good permeability, environmental protection, resource conservation and simple construction. It provides a way for construction waste recycling and has important significance for the design and application of retaining wall of soilbags filled with built slag.
